Concept of the Conference
During the history of psychoanalysis which counts more than 100 years its ideas have become an integral part of daily life and the world culture. And still, while for our Western colleagues the psychoanalysis has existed forever and it is older then any specialist who practiced it today, in Russia it has was banned for 70 years, and only returned to educational and cultural domains of the country 25 years ago. Many Russian specialists have discovered psychoanalysis having reached middle age. However they were actively rethinking the theoretical approaches and traditions that had been settled in the world psychoanalysis. The main goal of the Conference is to examine the actual state of the world psychoanalysis and to evaluate the results of re-entry of Russia and Eastern Europe to the world psychoanalytic community.
